@Sequence is a new live event series that we’ve created to dig deeper into a range of topics and trends that are connecting and transforming our world. Held in our offices in San Francisco and New York, @Sequence brings together innovative leaders and thinkers from industries and companies that are disrupting and designing the future.
Our recent SF event was titled “High Touch/No Touch” and focused on the intersection of service design and automated customer experiences. Our four panelists are at the forefront of the “no-touch revolution” — Chris Waugh from OneMedical, Nadia Shouraboura from Hointer, Paco Vinoly from Square, and our very own Cheryn Flanagan — and together discussed the future of healthcare, retail, transactions and design in an increasingly automated, no-touch world.
The panel delved into a variety of provocative questions, including: How are self-service customer experiences changing the way people shop and interact? How do we balance the desire for easy, automated no-touch experiences with the need for richer, high-touch human interaction? What factors are most important as we endeavor to design great no-touch service experiences?
Check out a few of the highlights from the evening, and stay tuned for our upcoming event early next year in our NY office.
